Impartiality

Assessment Body OTTIMA plus declares that its inspection activities are undertaken in an impartial and independent manner. OTTIMA plus inspection personnel have been adequately trained to identify the risks that threaten their impartiality and to carry out corrective and preventive actions to eliminate or minimize them. The top management of the OTTIMA plus inspection body declares impartiality in all inspection activities.
The independence of the Assessment Body OTTIMA plus meets the requirements for Type A units, which in practice means the implementation of activities as an independent third party. Before the final selection and appointment of an inspector for the purpose of carrying out an inspection, his independence is verified by the following criteria:
– the inspector is not employed in any form at the railway establishment,
– The inspector did not participate in the railway safety assessment process
